Al J. Varney aka Mr. Cellophane
 

Technical Director and Producer

Al Varney was the Head Rigger and Flyman at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, for 5 years. He was also Head of Automations for Mamma Mia! Las Vegas.  Before his time in Las Vegas, Al stage managed at Country Dinner Playhouse and worked as a stagehand for the Arvada Center. He has also worked for Denver Center Attractions in the Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Center Performing Arts Complex.

He has had a long career in virtually all aspects of technical theatre. So basically...

If it needs screwed, glued, nailed, covered, stuffed, fluffed, glittered, carried, loaded, lifted, driven, crossed, hung, rung out, popped, mopped, painted, lit, assembled, automated, ran, blocked, gelled, spiked, stamped, shoveled, adjusted, bought, hunted down, wrestled, welded, forged, hammered, sweated, delivered, plumbed, raised, shot, recorded, cleaned, textured, gutted, colored, transported, cooked, or drank.
  If it’s done right, you can walk right by him, look right through him and never know he’s there.



Reyna Von Vett aka Cora Vette

Reyna Von Vett performed for more than one million guests over three years as Tanya in Mamma Mia! at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. She wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed Victorian Comic Burlesque Operetta, Leadville or BUST! and most recently, the Pot Opera, Reefer Mania - Denver's Gone To Pot.

Reyna performed in many of Las Vegas's most prestigous hotels: The Allegro Jazz Lounge in the Bellagio Hotel, Napoleon’s Cigar Bar in Paris, Las Vegas, The Venus Lounge at the Venetian Hotel and The Island Lounge at Mandalay Bay Hotel. In Colorado, she performed the role of Kaye in The Taffetas at the Denver Center for Performing Arts and led the cast of Swing! at the Colorado Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. 

She has been a featured performer for Opryland and Tokyo Disneyland. She  headlined for Celebrity Cruises with an 8-piece band in her show "Let me Swing and I'm Happy". And in 2001, she was honored to sing at the Presidential Inaugural Ball in Washington D.C.

As her notorious alter ego Cora Vette, she is your naughty hostess with the mostest. She is clad mostly in sparkle vinyl clothing that she makes herself creating costumes that have the longevity of a car seat and are ready for thousands of rear-end hours that she can happily provide. Cora Vette: Mouth of a sailor - Voice of an angel.

Cora Vette also hosts many national burlesque festivals such as the New Orleans Burlesque Festival, the Southwest Burlesque Showcase in Albuquerque, NM and Show Me Burlesque in St. Louis, MO.
